I am thinking hopeful in general okay? I first heard this song when my good friend Neil made me listen to it during one of our long days in management training. I didn’t expect to like it at first (it’s not really the genre I’ve warmed up to), but the lyrics are just so full of hope. Really. The message is simple and clear, and it’s hard to not root for this song.
He sort of reminds me of Bob Marley. And Bob Marley reminds me of my college friends who just love love love love love love love the beach.
This challenge is more personal than it looks! Hahahaha. I mean, first my most recent ex and now, my first love!? Gehd. Hahahaha.
Anyway, so yeah my first love was in high school. Some might think it’s a cliche but hey! It was really good while it lasted. I honestly don’t think my growing up years would’ve been complete without it.
I think this is one of our songs. Of course, we were in high school, hence we have tons of theme songs. :)
I don’t know about you but I’ve always had a crush on Caroline Corr, the drummer.
Day 7 is a song that makes me recall my last summer.
Since this year’s summer hasn’t quite settled in yet, I will find a song that will make me recall last summer. But last summer I didn’t do anything! Hahahaha. I basically geared up for a July visit to Coron, Palawan, which was, to say the least, the most amazing time our family has ever had.
So I guess that’s what I’m giving a song to. :) Perhaps we can consider this trip as late summer?
Day 6 is a song that reminds me of my best friend.
Marga is…. yeah. :)
I believe we sang this while playing with the hula hoop. Yeah, that shit happened alright. Hahahaha.
(As this challenge progresses, it is suddenly becoming clear to me how different and random and shiny my music choices and preferences are. Interesting indeed.)
Well, at present, it would have to be Gotye’s Somebody That I Used To Know. But it said ‘often’, so it can’t be the immediate past right? Whenever I listen to this song, it just gets stuck in my head the entire day and I can’t let it go. I don’t know why really, but yeah.
