Day 4: Calms Me Down

Day 4 is a song that calms me down.

Huh.  This would take a while because I haven’t really thought of what song actually calms me down.  I guess it would be best to showcase the song I immediately listen to when I get angry right?  Yeah, that one is a no brainer.

This song is so haunting.  Admit it.  Her voice just gets under your skin and stays there.

I teared up a bit just listening to it again.  Gah, I love this song.

Day 3: The Parents

Day 3 is a song that reminds me of one/both of my parents.

I remember asking my Nanay when I was younger if she and Tatay have a song.  You know, like a theme song.  I know it sounds so cheesy, but come on, admit it.  Even if you’re just in the first phases of boyfriend/girlfriendship, you kind of attach and relate that one song to your love.  Hahaha.

Yeah, well, after asking that question, they broke out and sang this song together.

I guess it’s some kind of a private thing between them because I so did not get it.  Hahahaha.

Day 2: The Most Recent Ex

Here’s a song that reminds me of my most recent ex-boyfriend.

(I don’t know how most recent actually goes since I’ve been with Dylan for 6 years now. Hahaha. But for the sake of technicalities, let’s do this.)

He used to sing this a lot in the car while driving. He’s almost always out of tune, but he sings it so proudly nonetheless. I think it reminded him of his ex too. Hahahaha.

Coolest Cover Ever!

I know I said that Linkin Park’s Rolling In The Deep cover is the coolest thing ever.  But then music is constantly evolving, so are the people constantly bathing themselves with it.  I love Gotye’s Somebody That I Used To Know, and I was completely blown away by this cover.

(I actually thought that Pentatonix was amazing, but then, I stand corrected.  87 million views!  Come on!)

I am completely left in awe.  That girl has to be the hottest ever.  Wow.  WOW.

Closing jaw now.

The 25/25 Challenge

Okay, so I was an epic failure at the photography challenge (I stopped somewhere between Day 18 and 19), so how about we give this one a try?  Care to join me?

So Day 1 is A Song From Your Childhood.  That’s easy enough.  I was born at the time when music was at its best. :)  But yeah, this is the first song that came to my mind:

I remember being so all out for the Spice Girls and the Backstreet Boys that I wanted them to get together and make plenty of babies that’ll be pretty and shiny and musical!  Hahahaha.

Ah, those were the days. :)
