Totally blog-worthy
i remember someone telling me that choosing your college major is just like marriage; you have to be sure because you’re going to be stuck with it for the rest of your life. thankfully, i am one of those fortunate few who was given the liberty to choose my major.
i love the english language. its complexity astounds me and somehow, confuses me, and being a weird person (as i am), i love the confusion. it gives me the perfect reason (or excuse?) to constantly reeducate myself and update my knowledge of the language. this is one of the major reasons why i chose mass communication. minoring in broadcast journalism would have to be the influence of current events, cinematic productions (commercial and independent), and basically sticking my nose up on someone else’s business.
which is why i fall asleep everytime we talk about subject-verb agreement.
it’s not that i have a problem learning it; like i said, i like learning. but when you’ve spent your high school years trying to breathe the language and every semester in college with english refresher courses as major subjects, you’ll soon enough find yourself tired of the same lesson. it’s the same structure, the same curriculum… only a different teacher.
in short, i fell asleep yesterday during my language training.
what’s so blog-worthy about that? no one noticed.
amen. ;P

High on fishies
Ah yes, it is the month of hearts once again. All restaurants will be booked on that date. Florists will be booming in their businesses. Diamond rings could run out somehow. All motels will be unavailable.
Good thing we’re not the usual couple.
What is our Valentine wish? A truly sumptuous sushi platter. Oh yes. Oh and a dozen Hot Chic’s from the infamous BreadTalk.
I love our shallowness. J

The M&M has to book a hotel/venue for their wedding reception by Monday, otherwise they might lose their reservations in the other hotels. Tsk tsk.
When I get engaged, I’ll need at least two years to plan it inch by inch. Dylan approves of it. Oh yes.

I should get him chocolates, the kind that he loves.

I start working tomorrow. I better restart my body clock already because (surprise!) I’ll be working nights again.
Although I do have a pressing question that has been bothering me for quite some time now… how do you dress in smart casual?

Sushi platter, Baby. I love you forever.
