The 25/25 Challenge

Okay, so I was an epic failure at the photography challenge (I stopped somewhere between Day 18 and 19), so how about we give this one a try?  Care to join me?

So Day 1 is A Song From Your Childhood.  That’s easy enough.  I was born at the time when music was at its best. :)  But yeah, this is the first song that came to my mind:

I remember being so all out for the Spice Girls and the Backstreet Boys that I wanted them to get together and make plenty of babies that’ll be pretty and shiny and musical!  Hahahaha.

Ah, those were the days. :)

Florence + The Machine

Thank you to my boss Gerald for showing me this version of Shake It Out.  Florence Welch tickles my soul.

And to you dear reader, here’s a fantastic blend of indie, soul and rock.

A Song for Us Both

I woke up to this song and I knew I am so in love with this pairing.  Fantastic friends.  Both old souls.  Both with amazing talents.  And both I’d pay to see on screen again. :)

Happy new year, everyone. :)  Kiss more, hug people tighter.

Stuck in my head

Since I last saw my college girls, I can’t get this song out of my head.

I remember the slow drunk dance, Chasing Pavements with drinks in the air, the Chickenjoy gifts, and of course, the morning when everyone else is still asleep.  :)

See you soon.  2012 is ours. :)

Starlight

So lately, I’ve been pretty much plagued with this song.  I think I heard this song from 99.5 RT (been listening to it a lot lately, and Imma liking them!).  Since then, the song has been stuck in my head.

If you’ve known me for a while now, you’ll notice I’m quite reserved when it comes to pop songs, especially when they’re too cheerful.  I think this song caught me at a time when I was really really sad and it just perked me up.  Hahahaha.  I wish I can say much to my dismay, but it really is impossible to listen to this song and not be the tiniest bit happier.

Sadly, their record label dropped them last August.  It didn’t take them long to disband altogether.

Awww.  I guess I wasn’t meant to be a fan of pop?  And maybe just the song?  Hahahaha.  Either way, this picks up my mood. :)
