Do you really?

I don’t know which other fantastic 80s song will our generation lambast by creating some sort of spinoff or remix.  I mean come on!  Is the group who likes the purity of the original performances slowly shrinking?  My heart broke for this one.

This is the remake:

This is the original:

I mean…. come on.  Original all the way.

Oh and for those saying it’s too slow, it has its own mix:

Just saying.

All you need is a piano

This was Adele’s performance at the O2 Arena in Greenwich, London.  Said host, “If you sound like that, all you need is a piano.”

Oh so true.

Here’s her rendition of Turning Tables at the Live AOL Session.  I swear she sounds so much better off the record.  I want to be able to experience her music live.

Linkin Park does Adele

I very rarely like covers.  But this one is just perfect.

I remember the time when I was a fan of Linkin Park.  Then they started to crawl under my skin and annoy me, prolly because they’re playing over and over in the radio.  Then every Shia LeBouf movie needed a Linkin Park soundtrack.  So yeah.  For a moment, I was sick of them.

Then this.

See, Adele does a lot of good things.  Her songs brings our the rawness and the prowess of the singer’s voice.

Damaging awkwardness

Do you still remember her?  I was browsing YouTube last night (coz I realized it’s been a while since I last did that) and I ran into this video.  And I remember the songs that Plumb used to sing.

So what would you say to me if you could talk to me
You could ask anything, I wouldn’t lie
But you’re okay with this, damaging awkwardness
So I’ll just play it safe And keep it inside
‘Cause boys don’t cry

I wonder when and why I stopped listening to her.

In short, yes, Plumb is now in my playlist. :)
