Christmas cheer

I ran into an old friend from high school yesterday.  Actually, he’s my best friend’s ex.  It’s almost funny because looking at my BFF now, she is so much better off without him, and he’s the complete opposite of that.  Although he did flaunt his sleek mobile phone and saw me while parking his Gallant (ew), I can still say he’s on that stage where he’s trying to meet people who would acknowledge him and his presence and I guess, his luxuries as well.

I’m not one of those people.  Sorry.

Anyway, he commented on my looks, not that it mattered that much (bats eyelashes).  He asked me if I’m married.  He said that I have that newlywed glow in my face and the place lights up whenever I smile.  Now, I don’t know if he was just hitting on me or something but hey!  He wasn’t the first to say that.

Believe it or not, even people from my very much conservative church, is beginning to ask when I was getting married, because I sure do look excited at the thought.

I hope it doesn’t freak Dylan out.

I guess, looking at a far better perspective, Dylan really does have a good effect on me.  J

Lemme know what you think.
