I’ve been lounging around the entire long weekend.  I slept so much that my skin actually looked  luminescent!  Hahahaha.  I needed the rest so I just took it, and it has to be one of the more relaxing weekends I’ve had.

I made sure to fill my free time just writing, reading and watching movies.  Personally, I am a big fan of kissing.  I think it’s the sexiest thing, when two lips meet.  It really is.  And I miss kissing Le Beau, so I ended up making this list.

5.  Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo in 13 Going On 30

Friends, then enemies, then coworkers, then swing buddies.  There’s something so innocent and so sweet about this kiss.  I imagined this moment to be the same moment when you start looking at your best friend as someone more than that.

4.  Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling in The Notebook

It’s impossible to not have this couple on this list.  While a lot of people have always had the “It’s not over” scene on their list, well, this one takes the cake for me.

3.  Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in Pretty Woman

This is the first real kiss in this movie, and it was so moving.  I think this is where people got the idea to say those three words when they feel like the other half is not ready.  So whisper it in your sleep instead.  Hahaha.

2.  Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves in The Lake House

The kiss after a long wait is just all too familiar for me.  In this movie, these two people have never met and instead, just exchanged letters by the lake house mailbox.  They’re somehow stuck in a time warp where neither party exists in the same time even though they’re communicating in real time.  To me, it just rings true to all my long distance relationship woes.  And joys.

And for me, the best movie kiss is this:

1.  Michelle Monaghan and Patrick Dempsey in Made of Honor

This is how a kiss should be:  honest, full and disarming.  And the lyric is quite fitting too.  “This is all I have.”  *kiss*
