i study at an exclusive school for girls. it’s kinda odd coz before,
while still in grade school and high school, i’ve been intermingling
with boys and men in class. so it’s kinda hard to get used to the fact
that now, i am only mingling with girls (and noisy ones at that!).

anyway, we’re not allowed to smoke or drink while in our
school uniform, so we hang out at this joint called p3 (pizza pasta
pita) most of the time. i join my friends there even though i already
have quitted smoking (yay!).

then the joint did something stupid. they started recording my
classmates smoking while in their uniform secretly. now of course, that
pissed them off, coz now they have to render 50 hours of community
service as a sanction. they decided to circulate a letter, asking
scholasticans (that’s what we’re called) to boycott the joint.

the joint closed today.

the power of mass media… thanks be to God? i don’t think so.
poor guys. where in the world will they pick themselves up now…
