My first love turns 25

And it’s true.  I think most people won’t find that surprising, but every time I get drunk, teary and emotional and in the middle of a made-up/for-real crisis, I always say that Marga is my first love.  I grew up with her.  I was immature with her.

But I think the past year had made her wiser than me.  After all, she’s a mother now.

But that’s the new Marga.  What I can clearly recall is the old Marga.  Or rather, the young.  The one who loves putting flowers in people’s hair.

I think she was the one who convinced me to stuff my breasts.

She also told me to jump.  And bravely at that.  I think it’s because she’s so used to it.  Hahaha.

I don’t think she was ever hesitant or scared that she might fall or get hurt.  I think we’ve made a pact to always be the first to each other’s aid when we get in trouble.

We dressed up together, got pretty together, cooky together.  I pretty much did everything with her.

We slept together, woke up together, got wasted together.

I pretty much cannot imagine how my life would be like without her.  She’s smart, strong, and stunning.  Prolly the only S’s you will need in a woman.  I’ve always known she’s all these… I think it’s about time she knows it too.

Happy birthday, Love. :)  You know I’m here for you always.

It’s purple pants day for me!

Actually, it’s not just for me.  I bought these pants about three weeks ago and I was yet to find a day to wear them, until I remembered a special day for a purple lady.

Jaja, I hope these photos make you happy.  To be frank, I did not tell anyone in the  family to wear purple, coz in my head, it’s such an odd request for a birthday.  But when we all got up and got dressed, this is what we ended up with.  I hope you have a happy birthday because you deserve it.  You work your butt off, you strive to make other people happy, you’re a fantastic friend/daughter/sister/lover (not that I’d know, but hey! Hehe), so I hope these purple marks make your day much better.

Happy birthday, Jaja!

Happy birthday, Jaja!  May all your wishes come true.  :)

Finally, it’s over and done with.

January 8 was the last day of Module 300.  I had a hard time believing that I was the last person to present, but then again, I am the one with the meekest ability to hold my tongue.  These lessons and presentations are constantly testing my emotional quotient.  I can’t say I am enjoying it, but I can definitely feel the improvement.

My outfit for the day

The happy hour started around 8 when we arrived in the Training Center for the hats off party.

With Anj and her feather headband
With the NCR crew (L-R:  Neil, Jerome, Allan, Moi, Moksy with the fab fedora, Rayrand, Anj and Ranna)
Missing in picture:  Aldrich and Patrick

It was game night, and we competed with HR.  And we kicked their ass.  YES.
All in all, it was allllll good.  But the best part  was when they all decided to stick around and wait for my birthday (January 9).  I am so blessed to have made such good friends with these people.  I can never forget them.My birthday would have to be one of my longest days.  And quietest.  I enjoyed my alone time, and my time with my family.

It is always the simplest days that turn out to be one of the greatest.  Tonight, I will sleep with a full heart.I wish you the same.
