Back to regular programming

So the last three weeks came and went, and I am now back in the Philippines.  As much as it breaks our hearts (hyuck), Le Beau and I are back to regular programming, Facetime and iMessaging forever.

But then I cannot deny the joy of dating him for the last three weeks.  It was absolutely divine.

What I am most enthused about is the time I spent with my nephews and nieces.  I don’t think I would have gotten to know them well if I didn’t take this vacation.  I now have new breakfast buddies and new park buddies.

Juliana Louise and Myah Alyssa

Lily and Madie

I got to take care of the youngest member in the family, the beautiful and fast-growing Olivia Mackenzie.

With Olivia

I am so ecstatic to be part of this memory.  I remember her visit from last year.  She welcomed me from work, I came home past lunch time.  The first thing she said, “You’re not in iPad anymore!”  Ah, Lily.  <3

Lily's First Day

I met Le Beau’s best friend and his family.

The Almanzars

I never imagined that I will be back in this house after ten years.

Yale

But then again, I never imagined this either.

Love and I

Life sure knows how to surprise you.

Ah, tis but a dream

There are things that I will not stop loving…. FRIENDS is one of them.

I have consistently professed my love for this show, mainly because no matter how low or down or pathetic I was feeling, one episode of FRIENDS can easily turn that frown upside down. Smart writing accompanied by memorable characters, FRIENDS for me is still the best comedy television show ever. EVERRRR.

And I was right to love Freshome too! Not only did it give me my favorite bathtub and the chicest small apartment, it also featured the apartment layout of my favorite show.

The dream? To live in the comfort of Monica and Rachel’s apartment. Come on. You have to admit that’s pretty good living!

Joey and Chandler’s isn’t so bad too.

Head here for the 10 floor plans of the most famous apartments in television. You’ll love it as much as I do.

A change is gonna come.  Wait for it. :)

Why People Stared at Me For An Entire Hour at Coffee Bean

I chanced upon this video last night, right before I went to bed.  When I saw the length of the clip, I knew right away that this won’t work for late night viewing.  I have to be wide awake, comfortable and sitting down when I watch it.

Then I made the decision to watch it at Coffee Bean in A. Venue Mall, Makati.  My GOD.  I couldn’t help myself.  I was laughing out loud, snorting, and slapping my thighs.

I remember the people comparing How I Met Your Mother to FRIENDS.  I mean, seriously guys!?  I don’t get it coz the former pales in comparison!!!  My GOD.  I was just laughing my ass off and people started looking and I couldn’t even breathe to explain why.

It’s the ten-year gag reel of the best TV show ever.  So if you’re planning on clicking ‘Play’, make sure you’re seated and have not eaten in the last five minutes.  I watched this while eating Greek salad.  Laptop screen = feta everywhere.

Prepare for the best hour spent online! :)

And now… I SHALL WATCH IT AGAIN!!!

Kulasas at Mogu

It’s been a while since I last saw these lovely ladies, so when Tina suggested we do something normal — have dinner, desserts and coffee — instead of the usual late night party, I immediately bit the bullet.

We were supposed to meet at 7 in Mogu, Serendra, but only three of us were on time.  As usual, with every addition is a slight move down from the dining table.  I have to admit it is one of our more prudent spending for a long time.  Hahaha.  It was a fun dinner, with Jackie’s hunger prompting her to binge and then go on a sugar rush, Vaughn’s barter day and lots lots more.  I wonder if that Laiya thing will push through.

Let’s do this dinner thing again girls! :)

Day 10: Favorite Band

Day 10 is a song by my favorite band.

Now this is difficult.  I’ve always known that I will most probably sell blood or a part of my liver for a Coldplay concert.  And U2.  Or liver for U2, blood for Coldplay.  So it’s difficult.

Can I choose two?  Oh wow.  How do I do this?  How about….. yeah, let’s go with U2 on this one. :)

I first heard this song from FRIENDS, when Ross and Rachel were first starting out.  Remember the one with the list?  Since then, I’ve been hooked to this song — and this band — and it’s always so good!

You can’t deny the fact that people immediately fell in love with Bono more.
