He reads me like a book

So I turned 25 last week (yay), and I decided to spend the day being quiet.  Not quiet as in not talking, but like enjoying the silence that comes whenever.  I anticipated a dinner with the family, and we did have that at YakiMix.  It was fun.  We invited Dylan.

Anyone who knows YakiMix will tell you that you have to be there at least an hour before they open the doors to get a reservation.  We did that and we were on the waiting list  of the second page.  That’s what an eat-all-you-can shindig does to people.  So we had to wait an hour.

Dylan came exactly at the hour when we’re ready to be seated and he gave me his gift, that I did not expect at all:

And he said he took so long because he saw a Book Journal and a Film Journal and he didn’t know what to get.

I am so ecstatic.  I can’t even begin to explain it.  And he left this inscription in it.

See?  I am so loved by the man who knows me so well.  He reads me like a book and how I manage to surprise him still confuses me.

Now, I am off to marinate in this loving glow.
