Enchanted

I saw these pieces the first time on Pinterest.  They immediately caught my eye, mainly because everything seems to be so dreamy.  So I explored the site and I am introduced to BHLDN.

Originating from a Dutch word meaning “to keep”, BHLDN prides itself for creating dreamy, inspired pieces for not-so-ordinary occasions, making it far more memorable and inspirational than one can even imagine.

These cover-ups are just so adorable.  I think I mostly loved them for their styling, but you cannot deny the fact that these are well made clothes.  Well made INSPIRED clothes.

Then there were hats.  I think I first loved hats when I saw Mitch Dulce and her creations.  It’s very seldom that you see hats here in the Philippines, mostly because it’s not a common accessory.  I think the last time I tried to wear a good hair brooch, I spun heads and elicited laughter.  I know right.  But who wouldn’t fall for these things?!

And then the dresses.  I tried so hard to pick just two to feature here, so I chose the ones that caught my attention almost immediately.  Trust me, it was hard to choose among the selections.  Here’s a cocktail dress and a perfectly engineered pleated gown.  Divine!

And why would I even forget about the dresses?  Here are the ones that made me think Dylan and I should date in a more formal setting more.  I think it’s the perfect excuse to have these in the closet!

And this came from their About page:

There are no checkboxes. No fill-in-the-blanks. On the contrary, we think a moment should be as layered and dimensional as the woman standing within it.

I know for a fact that if and when I migrate to a US address, I will definitely get something from this store.

Dreamy right? :)
