This year is a jam-packed year to say the least. With so many work projects running in parallel and a masters degree waiting to be had, I’ve decided to throw in the mix wedding planning and an out-of-country travel with some of the Sisterhood. I’m crazy like that.
Guess where I’m headed next.
A combination of spontaneity and airline seat sale resulted to a 5D/4N trip to Bali, Indonesia in August of this year. WOW. I don’t think anyone of us has ever been so brave. This is also the first out of country trip for half of us.
Being the most controlling (can be positive, can be negative, up to you) among the group, I’ve taken the liberty to look at itineraries for the duration of our stay. So far, I’ve seen so many temples that most blogs have recommended to skip some and just choose a few. After a while, they tend to look alike.
And even though I have a weird fascination for staring at things, I have to agree I can’t make three other people stare at the same thing as long as I would.
Then, there’s the fact that I am travelling with three mothers. Yes, for this trip, I am taking three moms away from their only kids. Hahahaha. I almost feel cruel! As we were booking the ticket, I kept saying NO KIDS, NO BOYS. Looking back, it almost sounded so bitter as I couldn’t take Le Beau with me.
That being said, I want to emphasize that a day is needed to do absofuckinglutely nothing. NOTHING. Come August, we all would have felt the burden of being overworked, underpaid, and just being all over the place. So can you imagine the sheer bliss of having to do NOTHING? I am looking at Kuta Beach to fulfill our lazy day fantasy; we just need to have the perfect swimsuits to go with it.
I can’t even imagine where to begin planning this trip. I just know that this would be one of those last things that I have to do before getting married. I don’t ever want to regret not taking a trip with my sisters, especially when time to do it is available. Now that the going there part is fully secured, I just have to pester them for a night out to determine what to do and where to go.
So…. any suggestions?
