I like Enrique Iglesias. His music is always in love, or desperately in love, or just thirsty to prove that he’s love. Hahahaha. Really. And all the time, it goes with a good beat and a fantastic melody.
I’ve been watching Heartbeat a lot recently, just to get the blood pumping right before work. The weather has been so depressing lately; it’s like the skies are trying to recover from a breakup. So yeah, this song just gives you that good chirpy mood.
Notice the bleached jeans Enrique (hyuck, feeling close) is wearing?
That Nicole Scherzinger’s lacy dress.
Yeah I don’t think I’m up for that. But because it’s still 2012, goals have not changed. I have lost and gained and lost and gained the pounds I aim to lose, so obviously the challenge that I fail to rise to every time is consistency.
I believe I’ll do better this month. :) But for now…
Okay, I don’t mean that. I just mean let’s get fit.
Lately, I have grown super self-conscious with all the weight I gained the past couple of years. Normally, I don’t mind the extra meat. Dylan happily proclaimed that he loves the extra meat on my bones. And I’m happy that he’s happy. It’s just that I’ve been avoiding mirrors like the plague. I believe I have grown to not love how I look.
Hence, the let’s get skinny part. For 2012, I told myself, I will do the best I can to lose all the weight I gained since our management training. Before I went in that training, I had the body that I liked. Not skinny, not bloated. Just good fit meat. So I’m trying to get that back.
I started with a good plan, and so far, I’ve followed it, though not to the tee. Work started to kick my ass, but this week, I’ve decided to not let it ruin my health and fitness plan. I just have to be more dedicated to it.
So, I have a schedule on hand, a good playlist, and a goal in mind. I can do this. Tomorrow morning, I will measure myself and hopefully, I can track my progress in this blog. :) Bear with me please? I will still post your fashion stuff and other lifestyle choices here; I’ll just post about my health and fitness plan as, say, an intermission.
And an intermission should have relaxing music. :)
Next update: I’ll let you know how I plan to fan out my workout. Have a great evening/day folks. :) Thanks for visiting yet again.
Remember my post a few days back? My desire to lose weight and adapt a healthier lifestyle made me want to do the 100 challenge. Admittedly, I’ve been doing the second one more often, even if I will not go to the gym that day. But when I saw in the 360 Fitness website the result of more circuit training to one of their members, I’ve decided to do the same.
It’s not that I’m not happy with my body. I’m not happy with how it looks. I compare myself a couple of years back to the one I see in the mirror now, and although others will say that the weight gain made me look “better”, it definitely did not make me feel healthier. I always feel tired and heavy and burdened somehow. Worse, unlike before, I am having a hard time staying on my heels for more than four hours. AND I LOVE MY HEELS! So yeah. There.
Maybe you could do the 100 challenge too.
